1. What Data We Collect

When you sign up via our waitlist form, we collect your email address only. We do not ask for or store your name, phone number, address, payment details, or any other personal information unless you voluntarily provide it in an optional survey.

If you choose to complete a survey, we may also collect your responses to questions about your business preferences and lawn care habits. This data is anonymous in aggregate and used solely to improve our product.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your email address for the following purposes only:

• Waitlist updates — to let you know when Deep Edge launches or when your spot opens.
• Product announcements — to inform you about new features, updates, or changes to Deep Edge.
• Lawn-care related communications — we may occasionally send you information about products, services, or content we believe may be relevant to lawn care operators.
• Survey follow-ups — if you complete a survey, we may contact you regarding your feedback.

We will not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. How to Opt Out

You can opt out of receiving communications from us at any time. To do so:

• Email us at hello@deepedge.nz with the subject line "Unsubscribe" and we will remove your email from our list within 7 days.
• Include the email address you used to sign up so we can locate and remove your data.

Once unsubscribed, you will receive no further communications from Deep Edge unless you rejoin the waitlist.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Cloudflare D1 — a serverless SQL database hosted on Cloudflare's global network. Cloudflare is a trusted, enterprise-grade infrastructure provider used by millions of websites worldwide.

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers.
• Encryption at rest for stored data.
• Rate limiting to protect against abuse and unauthorised access.
• IP-based rate limiting to prevent spam submissions.

We retain your email address for as long as Deep Edge operates, or until you request deletion (see Section 3). Survey responses are retained anonymously for product development purposes.

5. Your Rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — ask us to correct any inaccurate data.
• Deletion — request that we delete your data (see Section 3).

6. Cookies & Tracking

Deep Edge does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any form of behavioural tracking on this website. We do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party tracking services. Your visit to this site is not monitored or recorded.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our waitlist:

• Cloudflare — for hosting, database (D1), and network infrastructure.
• Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) — for sending confirmation and waitlist emails.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We have selected them for their strong security and compliance standards.
